This role is based in Maidenhead and offers a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.
The Role:
To lead the fieldwork for Transaction Services (TS) engagements, which includes managing projects and overseeing team performance. Additionally, the role involves providing support for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) engagements as needed.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the day-to-day management of specific corporate finance engagements
- Manage project timetables and resourcing
- Coach and train junior members of staff
- Delegate effectively and appropriately to junior members of staff
- Interact across the business to form a strong management peer group that communicates and shares knowledge around key issues impacting business performance
- Develop own network of contacts that are accretive or incremental to existing firm relationships
- Demonstrate an ability to win work for corporate finance and the wider business through client portfolio (new and existing) and personal network (new)
General Responsibilities:

Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in Excel (data analysis), Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate with senior management and explain points clearly and concisely
- Ability to communicate with client personnel at all levels and explain points clearly and concisely
- Ability to coach and develop other team members
Knowledge & Experience:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
- Minimum 4 years’ post-qualified experience with at least 2 years in Corporate Finance (TS or M&A)
- Experience in training and coaching other team members
- Successful project management experience from planning to completion across teams
- Understanding of CF (Corporate Finance) deal structures and completion mechanisms
- Understanding of the Thames Valley and London Private Equity community
- Understanding of CF research systems and their usage
