Head of Reporting

Apointe is proud to be partnering exclusively with a market-leading, high-growth business in its search for a Head of Reporting. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead the reporting function, working directly with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights and improvements across financial processes and controls.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

• Own statutory reporting and manage external audit relationships.

• Produce consolidated group reports and board packs.

• Deliver management accounts and variance analysis with commercial insight.

• Support the Finance Director on strategic projects and financial planning.

• Identify and implement improvements to reporting frameworks and internal controls.

• Mentor junior team members and help build out a high-performing reporting function.

What we’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm.

• 2–4 years PQE in audit, financial reporting, or financial control.

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS).

• Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement.

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.

• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insight.
